About Me

I didn’t originally plan to become a therapist. After graduating from college, I began my career working as an agent in the music industry — a fast-paced world built around performance, achievement, and keeping a lot of moving pieces together. From the outside, things looked successful. But behind the scenes I found myself burned out, in a relationship that didn’t feel right, and increasingly disconnected from myself. Like many people, I coped by numbing out with drugs and alcohol and pushing through. Eventually I found myself sitting in a therapist’s office, unsure of what needed to change but knowing something in my life wasn’t working. With the help of a thoughtful therapist, I began learning how to slow down and pay closer attention to my own desires, hopes, and needs — a process that ultimately led me to the work I do today.

Many of the people I work with are high-achieving and thoughtful. On paper, their lives often look successful. They’re used to showing up for others, meeting expectations, and doing what’s required of them. Yet underneath that competence, many feel disconnected from themselves or unsure what they actually want. In therapy with me, you will learn to slow down, name what you are feeling and notice the patterns and relational dynamics that shape your life. You’ll learn to recognize feelings as information, better understand where your reactions come from, and begin making choices that reflect your own values rather than just what looks good on paper. Over time, the goal is not perfection, but a deeper sense of self-trust and a life you genuinely like living.

My approach to therapy is deeply relational. I believe meaningful change happens through honest conversation, curiosity, and the experience of being known by another person.

I aim to create a space where people can show up honestly and feel understood in the complexity of who they are. I welcome individuals from all backgrounds, spiritual perspectives, and gender or sexual identities.

My identity as a therapist has also been deeply informed by my own ongoing work in individual, couples, and group therapy. I hold deep compassion for the courage it takes to sit in the client’s chair and strive to offer the same curiosity, hope, and presence that have been so transformative in my own life.
